IGNOU Ranchi Regional Centre Admission 2025-26: IGNOU Ranchi Regional Centre is accepting applications for admission. It is for the 2025 session. Ranchi Regional Centre offers courses for the UG, PG, Diploma, Certificate, PG and Advanced Certificate, PG and Advanced Diploma, Non-Credit Programmes, and Appreciation Programmes. Some of these courses are Diploma in Tourism Studies, Certificate in Organic Farming, MA in Sociology, and BA in Tourism Studies etc. The last date to apply for July 2025 admission is 15th July, 25.

About Ranchi Regional Centre

IGNOU Ranchi Regional Centre offers admission in various courses at different levels. It many options at UG, PG, Diploma, Certificate, and many more. Students get a chance to choose from various course options. There are courses like an MA in Hindi, English, Economics, History, Rural Development, etc. For the BA programme BA in English, Library and Information Science, Commerce, Social Work, etc. There are other options available too for Diploma and Certificate, etc. There are options for specializations, too. The minimum eligibility criteria for admission in UG, Diploma, and Certificate programmes are 12th class pass out with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks. For the PG programme, the minimum eligibility criteria are a bachelor’s degree.

IGNOU Ranchi Centre Assignment Submission

Students need to submit their assignments on time. Assignments are mandatory for students to pass successfully from their course. Assignments hold 30% the weightage of the entire course. Students need to submit these assignments before the last date. To download the assignments, students can go to the official website of IGNOU. For students who want to get the assignments printed, they need to visit the Ranchi Centre. To get them in hand, students need to go to the Student Service Cell. They will find an IGNOU employee, and with your student admission information, you will get your printed assignments. 

For students who wish to submit their assignments offline, they can visit the Regional Centre office and then the Student Service Centre. You will be able to submit it through an employee. Remember to always give your assignments with a front page that has all your information. You will get an acknowledgement receipt for your submission. Keep it safe for future reference.

• For offline assignment submission or receiving them printed, students need to visit the regional centre personally. 
• Find the Student Service Cell, where you will get or submit your assignments.

• Give your assignment to the employee, and they will submit it with your information. Get an acknowledgement receipt with that.

IGNOU Ranchi Courses and Fees

IGNOU Ranchi has various courses for candidates. They vary in their fee structures according to their level and duration. Some courses can range from 3 to 6 years of duration, while some could only few months. These courses’ fee structure can go from a few thousand to half a lakh or more. IGNOU Ranchi Regional Centre Admission Process

Step 1: Students need to visit the Ranchi Regional Centre for the in-person admission application process. 

Step 2: Search for the Student Centre Cell. There you will find an IGNOU employee.

Step 3: Ask them for an admission application form. You will get it from the counter.

Step 4: Fill out the application form completely. It will require your personal and academic details. It will also ask you to fill in your course preferences. Fill it accurately.

Step 5: Attach the photocopies of your original required documents. You will be required to attach them for verification purposes. 

Step 6: When you are done filling out your application form and have attached all the necessary documents, you will be required to pay the Application fee. For IGNOU application form, that’s usually around INR 300/-. You can pay it offline in cash, or you can pay it online. 

Step 7: Next, you need to submit the application form to the counter. You will be given an acknowledgement receipt. Keep it for later. Also, make sure to keep the application payment receipt as well.

Required Documents 

You need to bring along your original documents and their photocopies with you. They will be required for verification. Their photocopies will be submitted after getting stamped and a proper signature from the authorities. Bring your photographs, submit your academic and personal documents.

• Class 12th Result and Certificate (Provisional)

• A Bachelor’s Degree (For Master’s Course)
• Migration or Transfer Certificate (If Applicable)

• Caste Certificate for reserved categories SC/ST/OBC (If Applicable)

Personal Documents –

• Recent Coloured Passport-Sized Photographs (At least Two)
• Signature or Thumb Impression in Blue Ink (Taken at the Centre)
• Bank Statements, Utility Bills, Aadhar Card, etc. for Residency Proof 
• Voter ID, Driver’s Licence, Passport, etc, for ID Proof.
