IGNOU PGDCFT Admission 2025-26: Admission for the PG Diploma course in Counselling and Family Therapy started on 6th June, 2025 and the last date to apply for admission is 15th July, 2025. Students who are Interested can apply for the course on the main site ignou.educationdunia.com with the necessary documents. It is a 1 year diploma and you should have completed your bachelor’s for pursuing this course. The fees for the entire course is INR 18,000.  After completing your graduation, you can work in Schools, Mental health clinics or even do private practice. You can earn around INR 2.5 LPA to INR 8LPA.

IGNOU PG Diploma in Counselling and Family Therapy Admission Process 

To take admission in the IGNOU Post graduate Diploma in Family Therapy follow the steps below:

STEP 1: Visit the official IGNOU website i.e. ignou.ac.in and go to the admission section. 

STEP 2: Click on Apply for ODL Programmes and it will open a new page. On that page, click on New registration and make an account with your active mail id and contact number. 

STEP 3: An OTP will be sent to you through mail or SMS. Provide the OTP and create a username and password. 

STEP 4: Login again at the samarth portal with the created username and password. An application form will appear on the screen.

STEP 6: Enter the required  information such as personal, academic and family details for the application form. 

STEP 7: Submit the required documents and make sure they are clear and not blurred. Then click preview and check if the information is correct. 

STEP 8: Click on Make payment and pay through debit/credit card or Net banking. 

STEP 9: Download the Confirmation slip and save it for future reference. 

IGNOU PG Diploma in Counselling and Family Therapy Eligibility 

Minimum Qualification: Must have completed a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. 

Minimum Percentage: At least have secured 50% marks if from general category and 45% if you are from reserved category. 

Age Limit: No minimum age requirement is needed to take admission in this course.
