IGNOU MSW Admission 2025-26

31 January 2025 is IGNOU MSW Admission 2025 last date. Students can now participate in the admission process because IGNOU has already released the application forms. Interested applicants can apply to the MSW program on IGNOU’s official admission portal – @ignou.ac.in. An application fee of INR 300 will have to be paid by the applicants via any of their desired payment methods during the application process of IGNOU MSW. Students should know that the total IGNOU MSW Admission Fees is INR 36,000. 

Applicants whose bachelor’s course or any other equivalent qualification has been completed from a recognized university or college can pursue the IGNOU MSW course in the current academic session. MSW in IGNOU Syllabus requires the students to study the subjects of Basic Social Science Concepts, Social Work Research, Women and Child Development, etc.

IGNOU MSW Admission Fees 2025

Indira Gandhi National Open University sets vary specific fee structure for the MSW program. Students who plan on pursuing this course at the university can pay the fees through any of the payment methods. The total IGNOU MSW Admission Fees is INR 36,000 and hence, students will have to pay INR 18,000 per year. The fees for examinations and other academic procedures are included in the above-mentioned course fees. Furthermore, students will also be required to pay an application fee of INR 300 while applying for the MSW course at IGNOU.

IGNOU held MSW Term End Examination after every academic year end. In this Term End Examination university checks students performance and eligibility to promote in the next year session or not. Before entering the TEE students must carry their IGNOU Hall Ticket. 

IGNOU MSW Hall Ticket 2025

Step 3: In the next step of the application process, applicants will need to open the “Fresh Admission” section which consists of all the types of programs offered by IGNOU in the current academic session of January 2025-26. 

Step 4: Students will need to see the section of “For ODL Programmes” which will have a link right next to it. Click on the link. 

Step 5: Further, applicants will need to click on the option of “Click Here for New Registration”. 

Step 6: Now, the registration process for IGNOU MSW will need to be completed by the applicants by entering their date of birth and contact details. 

Step 7: Students will now have to log into the IGNOU Admission Portal with the credentials they have created during the registration process. 

Step 8: The IGNOU MSW Application Form will have to be filled out by the applicants by providing their personal and educational information. 

Step 9: Applicants will need to enter the category they belong to, their mother and father’s names along with their occupations, the educational institution where they pursued their UG degree, and many more.
