IGNOU MA Economics Examination Pattern
Students need to submit assignments of each course before appearing in the term-end examination. IGNOU conducts examinations twice a year in June and December, there will be a flexibility for students to give exams. The grading system is keen on a two-tier assessment methodology combining continuous reviewing through assignments (30% weightage) and term-end examinations (70% weightage).
Students passing criteria requires to secure a minimum of 40% marks separately in both assignments and term-end examinations. The grading system follows a 10-point scale, with grades ranging from A+ (85% and above) to C (40-49%). Students who fail to qualify the exam can reappear again in subsequent examinations within their program.
