IGNOU Hyderabad Regional Centre: The Regional Centre situated in Hyderabad became fully functional in the year 1987. It was established as the first regional centre of IGNOU. IGNOU Hyderabad Regional Centre was inaugurated on 2 February 1987, the regional centre of IGNOU in Hyderabad has its jurisdiction in the state of Telangana and its constituent 33 districts. At the time of the establishment of this regional centre, it had only 5 study centres and 546 students enrolled.
However, with the development of this regional centre and the overall growth of IGNOU, this regional centre has established 20 learner support centres. The university also introduced 150 new programs in ODL and Online modes of education.

IGNOU Hyderabad Regional Centre Admission 2025
Learners who are currently living in Hyderabad or any district of Telangana can take admission to the study centres of IGNOU in the upcoming academic cycle of January 2025-26.
