IGNOU DElEd Admission 2025-26 : D.El.Ed. stands for Diploma in Elementary Education. Students who want to pursue the IGNOU DElEd program can go to their official portal and apply for registration. IGNOU DElEd Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria for Diploma in Elementary Education provided by IGNOU. Students must complete their class 10+2 with at least 50% marks from a recognized state or central board. Students must have at least 2 years experience of teaching in elementary or primary from a recognized school. Age limit for the DElEd program is minimum 18 years and maximum is 35 years. IGNOU DElEd Examination Pattern

Students need to submit each assignment of every course of IGNOU DElEd before appearing for the term-end exams. IGNOU conducts exams two times a year, in June and December. There will be a preparation time for students before they give exams. Announcement for exam form will be out before April 2025*, before the June term-end exam.

Students must complete both theory and practical work to develop their skills and understand the educational concepts. Grading system is divided into two sections, internal assessment and term-end examination. Students will get internal marks (30%) based on their assignments and practical work. As for term-end exams(70%) will be based on written exams for each subject. After combining these two sections students will get an evaluation. Students need at least a 35% passing mark in both practical and theory to clear the passing eligibility criteria.
