Last date for the IGNOU CCH course admission was 31st March 2025 for the January session 2025-26. Candidates can fill the CCH form Online from the IGNOU’s Admission Portal. And after completion of the course students can carry out the CCH Certificate online too. The university has set the application fee for this program to INR 300 which needs to be paid by the applying candidates in order to complete the application process of IGNOU CCH Admission.

IGNOU CCH Course Syllabus

The Certificate of Community Health is a 6-month program offered by Indira Gandhi National Open University for a maximum of 2 years. Students who want to pursue this course will have to make sure that they meet the eligibility criteria for the program and fill out the IGNOU CCH Admission Form accurately. IGNOU CCH Course Syllabus is designed very uniquely and includes multiple relevant subjects like Concepts of Community Health, Environmental Health and Sanitation, Nutritional Deficiency Disorders, etc. In addition, the total fee for a 6-month Certificate course in Community Health under NHM is INR 15,000. Eligibility Criteria for IGNOU CCH Admission are mentioned below:

Students should have pursued a PB BSc Nursing/GNM/BSc Nursing or Ayurveda graduates with a degree of BAMS as their UG degree from a recognized university or college.
Those who are professionally working as ayurvedic practitioners will also be considered qualified enough to be eligible for pursuing the CCH program at IGNOU.
Indira Gandhi National Open University doesn’t conduct any entrance exam for granting admission to the CCH program. There are also no age bars for this program as set by the university.

Note: IGNOU CCH Admission is available only to candidates who are officially sponsored by their respective state governments. Applicants need approval from their state authority to be eligible for course enrollment.

IGNOU CCH Fee Structure 2025-26

Total Course Fee: IGNOU CCH course fee is INR 15,000, which contains tuition fees, university development fees, and study materials.
Registration Fee: Besides course fees students have to pay an extra amount of INR 300, which is non-refundable.
Payment Options: Students can pay the fees in one installment or either they can pay year wise, depending on their convenience.
Additional Charge: Students have to pay some additional and charge of the university.

How to apply for IGNOU CCH 2025?

Students who are wanting to pursue the Certificate in Community Health program in the next academic cycle of January 2025-26 need to complete the online admission form accurately. The steps to apply for IGNOU CCH Admission 2025 are mentioned below:

Step 1: First of all, applicants will need to visit the IGNOU’s official web portal – @ignou.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on “Register Online” and open the section containing multiple options about important procedures of the university.

Step 3: From those several options, select the option of “Fresh Admission” and a Word document will open on the screen.

Step 4: Now, candidates should click on the click on link right beside “For ODL Programmes”.

Step 5: Select the “Click Here for New Registration” option.

Step 6: In this step, the candidates will be directed to a page where they will need to complete their registration by providing their email address, and mobile number, verify them, and create a login credential for filling out the CCH Application Form.

Step 7: Login into the IGNOU Admission Portal with credentials created in the previous step.

Step 8: Start filling out the IGNOU CCH Admission Application Form by entering your personal information like your residential address, names and occupations of the applicant’s mother and father, date of birth, etc.

Step 9: Enter the details summing up your past qualifications like the board of education in your 10th and 12th class, the university/college of your UG degree (BSc Nursing, BAMS, GNM, etc), marks obtained by you in all of your past education, year of passing, and many more.

Step 10: Students will now be required to upload their documents as per IGNOU’s guidelines. They will need to upload a scanned copy of their passport-size photograph, signatures, UG degree and mark sheet, ID proof, caste certificate (if applicable), etc.

Step 11: Pay the IGNOU CCH Application Fee of INR 300.
