IGNOU PGDT Admission 2025-26: Indira Gandhi National Open University offers a 1 year Post Graduate Diploma in Translation (PGDT) program through Open Distance Learning mode and the admission is currently open  for the July 2025 session. 

The last date to apply for the INGNOU’s Post Graduate Diploma in Translation (PGDT) is 15th July 2025.

Indira Gandhi National Open University offers a Post Graduate Diploma in Translation (PGDT) program in distance mode. The fee for the entire course is INR 4,000, but does not include nonrefundable registration fee, examination fee and development fee. IGNOU offers fee exemption for SC/SC/OBS candidates under the SCSP/TSO grant. Students can pay online through netbanking or UP.

Qualification required for pursuing IGNOU’s PG Diploma in Translation (PGDT) program,candidates need to have completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. There is no specific percentage or age required for admission,but this course requires strong proficiency in both Hindi and English. 

Qualifications Requirements:  Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in any discipline.

Percentage: No specific marks are required for pursuing PGDT course from IGNOU. 

Language Proficiency: PGDT program emphasizes strong proficiency in Hindi and English.
