IGNOU MEd Examination Pattern
Students must submit their assignments for every course before appearing for the end-term examination of IGNOU MEd Exams are conducted two times a year by IGNOU, in June and December. IGNOU will announce the exam date for students so they have enough time to prepare. IGNOU Date Sheet has been released, the Term End Examination has started from 12th June 2025 and conclude on 19th July 2025. There will be flexibility for students to give June end-term exams.
Students can study theory and work practically to develop their understanding of the concepts and skills of education. Grading system is divided into two parts, internal assessment and end-term examination. Students will get 30% internal marks based on their practical work and assignments. For the end-term exams, students will get 70% marks based on their written exams for each subject. After the result of both, internal marks and external marks, these two sections will be combined and evaluated. Students will need at least 40% marks in both theory and practical to be able to clear the passing eligibility criteria.
