IGNOU BA Admission 2025-26

The process of being granted admission to any BA program in the January 2025-26 academic session has been started from 12 December 2024 at IGNOU. The university has set the application’s last date to 31st March 2025. Applicants who are interested in pursuing any of the 31 specializations of the BA program should apply to their respective specialization of the BA course before the due date. The application forms and all the other important dates regarding the IGNOU BA Admission 2025 can be viewed on IGNOU’s official website – ignou.ac.in. The applicants must pay an application fee of INR 300 while applying to their desired BA program. 

Students will also need to make sure that they have completed their 12th grade from a valid board of education. IGNOU BA Admission for the upcoming academic session will be completely based on their merit.

IGNOU BA Admission Fees 2025

IGNOU BA admission annual course fee is INR 4,400, with additional Application Registration Fees of INR 300 and University Development Fees of INR 200. For B.A. Psychology students with Practicum courses, an extra fee of ₹600 is required for both the first and second years.

IGNOU BA Application Process

Students who are interested in pursuing any specialization of the BA program at IGNOU will have to complete their registration at the university’s official portal as the first step of the IGNOU BA Admission Process. During the application process of the university, students will need to be extra careful while entering their information. The steps included in the application process for IGNOU BA Admission are as follows:

Step 1: Visit the IGNOU’s official admission portal – @ignouadmission.samarth.edu. 

Step 2: Find the option of “Click Here for New Registration” in the top left corner of the page. 

Step 3: Now, start entering the details about yourself like your name and email address, verify that email address; double-enter your mobile number, and captcha. 

Step 4: Click on the “register” option, and your registration at Indira Gandhi National Open University will be completed. 

Step 5: After creating a login credential for the IGNOU Admission Portal, students will have to log in with the same credentials they have created. 

Step 6: Applicants can now start providing the details about themselves, like their residential address, their mother and father’s names and occupations, the university or college they pursued their UG degree from, and marks obtained by them among others. 

Step 7: In the next registration step, applicants will have to upload their important documents (passport-size photograph, bachelor’s degree, signature, valid ID proof, etc.)

Step 8: Carefully review all the information that an applicant has provided in each section of the IGNOU BA Application Form. 

Step 9: Pay the IGNOU BA Application Fee of INR 300 via any payment method. 

Step 10: Click on the “Submit” option and complete the application process successfully.

IGNOU BA Assignment 2025

IGNOU BA enrolled candidates must complete their assignment before the deadline. The last date of the IGNOU Assignment submission is 31st March 2025. Students need to complete their IGNOU BA Assignment according to the guidelines created by the university and must submit the assignment before the last date. And both modes of submission are available for the students (online and offline).

IGNOU BA Scholarship 2025

Indira Gandhi National Open University has a programme for the students in which they provide scholarships to the students who are from backward categories or from minority (ST/SC/OBC/MINORITY). IGNOU BA Grade Card 2025

Indira Gandhi National Open University has released the BA December 2024 TEE result, students are advised to check their BA grade card on the IGNOU’s Grade card website – IGNOU Grade Card. This grade card contains students academic theoreticals, practicals and assignments marks.
